My name is Nathan Saulsberry, and I am one of the co-founders of Sheep To Shepherds. I grew up right here in Dickson County, Tennessee. I'm blessed to be a Tennessean, and I have a beautiful wife and three amazing children.
I'm fortunate to be a servant to the one true King.
I started my background in sales, door-to-door sales, roofing, and construction. It was a huge blessing for me, but I always felt like something was missing and that I had a higher calling to do something for the Lord.
So, about three years ago, in 2020, God called me. I felt pulled back towards my hometown in Tennessee. I had lived in Atlanta, Georgia, for 15 years. After a lot of thought and prayer, my family and I decided to move to Thompson's Station, Tennessee, a little town right outside of Franklin.
Over the next three years, God would continue to give me visions and nudge me along the way, showing me what He had intended for me. That hole that was in my heart was going to be filled if I was obedient.
Fast forward to today, I'm unbelievably humbled, excited, thankful, grateful, and scared - but in all the good ways. I cannot wait to see what God does with Sheep To Shepherds and the men inside of it. Just the ability to help people every single day in the same way as every other person on this earth pants... and I am no better than any of the men that we serve on a daily basis. We've just made some better decisions, that's all.
We want to leave no shame. We no longer want them to be sheep. We want them to become shepherds as they join the flock of the Good Shepherd.

I am currently the co-founder and vice president of Sheep to Shepherds Farms, PLLC (STS). My home life consists of my wife and three daughters. A strong passion and desire to help others has always been a part of me, in my heart, and I've decided that's what God has led me to do.
I have been sober from alcohol since September 29, 2020. My previous careers as a professional baseball player with the San Francisco Giants, foreman to project manager/estimator in construction for the great Nickell Co., LLC in Columbia, and farm manager for the legend Cal Turner in Franklin have all taught me many skills in business, intensive labor, professionalism (still working on this one), and communication with a very diverse group of personalities and cultures.
If I'm not on the clock, I'm outside with my family messing around on our farm, at a sports game/practice, golfing, hunting/preparing to hunt, or fishing. I'm so thankful and blessed to be able to wake up every day knowing that my "job" is helping others. How fulfilling this is for me can't be measured!
From me to you, God bless, and remember someone out there loves you!
